NF1-PN is a devasting and lifelong disease.
Patients are counting on us, and we won’t let them down.
Neurofibromatosis type 1 (NF1) is a genetic disorder that affects children and adults, manifesting in a variety of symptoms including abnormal pigmentation, skeletal deformities, nonmalignant and malignant tumors, and neurological complications. About 30-50% of patients develop plexiform neurofibromas (PN), which are peripheral nerve sheath tumors that cause severe disfigurement, pain, and functional impairment.
